The mission of the Support Learning Foundation is: to conduct, sponsor, facilitate and/or fund the development of knowledge, application and distribution of educational methods, systems and curricula that incorporate new technologies to provide (or expand existing) educational opportunities and technology to help teachers, parents, schools, not for profit organizations and communities prepare students for meaningful jobs and careers, with emphasis on reducing the national drop rates for at risk populations and communities.

Hal has had an overarching career in information systems, educational technology and telecommunications applications primarily in public school settings. His work has been accomplished in school district, state education department, and state association-level operations, providing a broad perspective on theoretical and practical technology models.
Hal is working with the Kauffman Foundation and the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation as well as our own board of directors to insure that specific software, distance learning opportunities, and curriculum development are made more accessible to economically challenged schools.

Steve Waddell is the owner and lead developer for I Support Learning, Inc. It is through his vision that the Support Learning Foundation was created and actively working to make an impact in the lives of students everywhere. He has nearly 20 years of experience in designing and developing educational software, games and management systems.  Steve resides in Olathe Kansas with his wife and son.  He is a pilot and enjoys spending his free  time playing with his son. His other interests include a dalliance into the world of professional improvisational comedy, and tinkering with robots and technology.

Greg Krenke

In 2003 Greg Krenke helped to develop the first interactive story centered simulation tool for horticulture education. Greg has always been a leader in new education models for agriculture education. As a lifelong member of FFA, Greg recently restarted the Olathe Kansas FFA program. Since the beginning, he has grown the program into one of the premiere programs in the Kansas City region. Greg has blended his love of teaching with community service and his programs have always positively impacted the communities in which he has taught.

Mike Yancey has been in the banking profession for more than 20 years and is Senior Vice President for Farmers Bank of Kansas City, and lead commercial lender. He is a past board member for Olathe Young Life, a non-denominational high school age outreach ministry, and is currently a Community Board Member for the Kansas Children's Service League. Mike has twice served as Chairman of the Olathe Chamber of Commerce Membership Council. Mike resides in Olathe, Kansas with his wife of 20+ years and two daughters.

Max Waddell is a Staff Engineer working in the Electronics Group for Honeywell. He has worked in the Federal Manufacturing and Technology plant for 35 years. Max is an active member in the Boy Scouts of America where he has held the title of Scout Master for the past 30 years. In 2003, he received the rank of vigil member to the Order of the Arrow. Max brings the same sense of duty and community service to the Foundation that he has demonstrated through his years as Scout Master. Max resides in Shawnee Mission with his wife, Kathy, of 46 years. He is Steve's father and together they have always looked for opportunities to provide services to the community. He also enjoys his other hobby of digital photography.
Dan Crall

Dan Crall has been a front line fire fighter his entire career. He has been an extrication expert and has been responsible for not only saving many lives, but in addition has taught extrication all over the US to other dedicated EMS teams. As a captain of the Olathe Fire Department in charge of training, Dan has brought his passion for rescue and teaching together. His work in EMS and responsibility for keeping his department on the leading edge of new training methodologies, helps him to guide the foundation’s work with the Search and Rescue Robot Challenge.
